Arch of Constantine
In November we went on a family vacation to Rome, Italy. It was so fun.
This is the Arch of Constantine. It is very big. It’s right beside the Colosseum.
Roman Forum
We walked through the Roman Forum. There were a lot of columns.
St. Peters Basilica
St. Peters is the world’s biggest church. The atrium (front part) of the church is bigger than most churches.
We walked on the roof. It was so awesome!
There were guards for the Vatican City. They were dressed in something that according to my dad looked like pajamas. They wouldn’t move, they just stood still while15 people took pictures of them.
Some of my favorite things in Rome were playing Settlers with my parents, eating gelati :) trying new pizza and pasta, pretending to be statues, walking on the streets, & keeping a journal to write everything we learned or saw. Here are some more pictures.
