Skiing was so fun! Ryan and Emily were in my class. First we learned how to put our skis on. The shoes were SO tight and right now my feet and legs (and arms) are sore! Then we learned how to side step up a mountain (my least favorite part) and slowly skiing down. To go slow, you do a “pizza” with the front of your skis facing inward (like a slice of pizza). To go faster, you do “french fries” with your skis parallel to each other.
We had a break for lunch and had pizza and french fries. (Seriously!) When we got back outside, we went down the small hill from almost halfway and went slow. Finally, they taught us how to turn. They put cones out that we had to go through. We went up on the rope thingy and went higher and higher. they put more cones out and I was the first person to get through all of them, because one was a hard turn. I continued to go through all of the cones until the instructor told me to try going around the end cones. That was hard, but I got it a few times.
Then, class ended and all of the people and cones left. It was a big space for me to go as fast as I could with as many turns as I wanted. It was so pretty! Snow was falling with peace and quiet on a huge hill with mountains in the background of my view. I didn’t want to leave.
After, the skiing, we went sledding and Ryan and I went on the “scary side”.We went on some crazy jumps. It was super fun!
Next, we went to dinner. MMMM! I had a salad, soup and desert: A big chocolate ice cream bowl with tons of toppings. (plus tons of delicious brownies and cookies.)
After that, we went swimming! Dad had the GoPro in the water. We loved going in the hot-tub with sow surrounding it. It was so pretty, warm and relaxing.
Then, we watched Once Upon A Time. It was fun. Emily read scriptures with me, and we went to bed.

Today, we ate and amazing breakfast with and omelet, a mixed juice drink, and fruit.
Then, we packed up and left our room, but we stayed in the building. The four oldest kids played a spy kind of game in all four floors using three sets of elevators, stairs, and some more secret stairs that an employee showed us. (She’s awesome!) It was Emily and I against Ryan and Megan. We had to find the other team and tap them. Emily and I won!
Then we drove back home.
That was our last time at Edelweiss in Garmische, Germany! :( Great memories have been made and we’ll miss it! Aufwiedersehen Edelweiss!
